Gratitude is necessary to live a joy-filled life. The research is clear; living a life of gratitude and practicing gratitude is vital to the joy that a person experiences while also benefiting the aging process. The benefits of gratitude include but are not limited to reduced depression, ease of anxiety, fewer chronic illnesses, and as a person ages, and overall feelings of well-being.

Gratitude practices can help in many, but it is necessary to implement the tools required to experience the benefits of gratitude.

Here are three simple ways to adopt an attitude of gratitude and activate the power of gratitude in your life:
